In 2007 we started looking for a van that had bunks in it (to sleep our two girls), and found there was very little available on the market. Scott who is a qualified builder said, “he could build one”, in fact he said “he could make one and make it to suit our own individual layout”. So we decided let’s start a caravan business were we can offer customers a van that they can design to suit their own needs.
We started out in a small shed and within a few months outgrew these premises. In December 2007 we relocated to our current address at 62 Newman Street, Wangaratta. This is a huge 900m² factory and we have really spread our wings – manufacturing up to six caravans at any one time.
What makes us different is that we are offering people the opportunity to have exactly what they want in a van. In fact we encourage people to research the market decide what they really like, i.e. front kitchen, single beds, toilet, etc. and then make an appointment to sit with us and design a van exactly to suit their needs.
We offer a three year guarantee on our vans and are accredited by the Recreational Vehicle Manufacturers Association of Australia (RVMAA), proudly displaying their badges on all our vans.
Manufacture currently takes between six to eight weeks and we encourage customers to visit our factory whilst their van is in production and see how it is progressing.
We are a relatively small family business and do not wish to grow too big, as this takes away from the personal service we offer in giving people what they want. We feel that our idea is unique, and we find it very rewarding seeing the finished product being collected by our customers.
