Go for something different - have a look at Designer Vans in Wangaratta. Superb custom builder who makes off road vans to order that in my opinion offer far better value and build than a lot of the well known names. That does not mean any criticism of other names, but if you want individuality at much less than the larger makers they are well worth consideration.

These vans go anywhere and possibly further than the more well known makes can, should you wish to do that. You do however need to know what you want and can specify every item in the van.

As usual no connection - just a very satisfied owner.

Hi Barb and Scott

We out to Deniliquin last weekend in the van.

This was the first time we had towed it a distance other than on the Hume Highway and also the first time we had stayed in a caravan park with it.

It towed a treat which was great. We love it – the windows make it - you can see out all around without fly screens to interrupt your view. Also we think the Spinflo cook top and oven are great. The fridge seems to use hardly any battery when we are not on power – as I have said previously we thought the one in the Kedron was good but this newer model of the same thing uses next to nothing. Tell Paul the lights above the beds are perfect – great for reading either end. Everything to do with staying in the park worked perfectly.

We are still getting the mattresses sorted – Makin' Mattresses still have ours to take 30 to 60mm off them but they have lent us some other mattresses while they are doing that so there are no problems. In any case the van seems very warm on cold nights, which is good.

We are planning a big trip setting out about the middle of next month – up the centre, then the Tanami and down the west coast.
